Kathleen VanderVeen
Kathleen VanderVeen joined Grand Valley State University in 1991 and currently serves as an associate vice president for the Division of Inclusion and Equity. Kathleen earned a doctoral degree in educational leadership from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in college student affairs leadership from GVSU.
Now GGRWHC president, Kathleen’s connection with the organization dates to the 1990s when she coordinated programs as a representative of the university’s Women’s Resource Center. She had served for more than a decade on the board of the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in Kent County.
