How Can I Help?
As a nonprofit organization, GGRWHC relies on community involvement to fund our work. Your support goes a long way in helping us continue to compile research on the great women of Grand Rapids’ past and share it with the community. Whether you are interested in volunteering your time and skills or sponsoring us with a monetary donation, you can make a big difference to GGRWHC.
What Will My Support Do?
Our projects revolve around meticulous research and sharing our knowledge with the community.
To gather information, we:
- Research and document the lives of women from earlier generations
- Gather and transcribe oral histories from contemporaries
To share our knowledge, we:
- Present educational programs to area schools and other interested groups
- Speak at conferences and events
Your support allows us to continue to give proper credit to the women who contributed to the growth of the Greater Grand Rapids area. Your volunteer work ensures there are passionate individuals speaking up for women of the past, and your sponsorship covers all necessary monetary costs to keep us running. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
