Julie Tabberer is a librarian at the Grand Rapids Public Library, and head of the Grand Rapids History Center. Julie is an advocate for making archives accessible, and is committed to inclusive representation in community history. Julie loves working with data, tackling a research challenge, and connecting people with information.

Her research interests center on women’s history including labor, the furniture industry, and prohibition. As an archivist, Julie has presented at regional and national conferences on web archiving, migrating messy data, the role of public library archives, and how historians and archivists can work together.
